THE MEDITATION:

MEDITATION FOR DISSOLVING IMPEDIMENTS TO OPENING THE HEART

"Begin by taking deep breaths, sinking into your heart with all of your consciousness. With every breath, open your heart, larger and larger and larger with every breath in. As you breathe in and your heart opens, feel yourself connecting to the All of God, the great ocean of Love, vibrant and alive, vast, yet tender.













"So now you have a gloriously open heart connected to the All of Love. The vast, the unmanifest. And now you feel that ocean of God's Love permeating your being and funneling through your heart. Not just your physical heart, of course, but the heart of Love that you are. With every out-breath, God pours through you to touch and love life manifested.













"We are aware of ourselves now as that point where God loves through us. Be conscious of how it feels as Love pours through you. Feel how it blesses, how it kisses every cell of your body, how it illuminates every particle of Love that you are, how it resonates with the light that is in every atom, with the life that you are. How does it feel to be the very heart of God?













"Breathe in, becoming the open heart, communing with the All of Love. Breathe out as Love pours through the opening that is you and God's Love comes into the world. Notice how it feels to be touched by this Love, to be its vehicle, its vessel. Allow the Love to pour through you and your mind to notice AFTER the fact.













"Notice, if you can, how this Love honors the truth of who you are, your existence.













"As you feel this Love pouring through you, keep expanding in your awareness of the heart that you are. Expand until there is nothing else. No personality, no body, only the glorious opening for Love. Feel the celebration of life, exaltation, joy as that Love pours through you. Notice that there is only Love, washing through you, pouring through you, rushing through you, without discrimination. It doesn't go some places and not to others. It doesn't find some lives worthy and others not. It just pours through you. All of life manifest being loved through us. The rushing, dancing river of living Love, pouring through the heart of God we are.













"Now, placing our consciousness right at that point that is the opening of our heart, the place where God's Love pours through the "windowpane" of our spirit - the heart, - allow to come before this opening something that restricts the passage of this Love, something that is a belief or a part of who you think you are, something that needs the forgiveness of letting go. Allow it to rise up from within from the wisdom that God Is With You. Hold it there in front of the opening that is your heart.













"And now, breathing in - connect to the glorious All of the Love of God and allow that Love pouring through your heart to love that flaw, that part that needs releasing. To love it, to love it, to pour that Love upon it with passion and with tenderness, all the urgency of the river of life, reaching through to lift it up, to dissolve its hold on your heart. Love washes it tenderly until you see it dissolving, until where there was a blockage, there is only living Love. Know that anything exposed to this Love can only dissolve, its energy freed at last.













"And now, breathing in, you are held within the All of God. You are held in Love so magnificent that you are filled with joy. Love so tender that you are sure in every fiber of your being of God's personal support of you. You are suspended in abundance and perfection - the perfection of God's Love for you. You are resting in the ocean of God and you are filled with a clarity you have never known - the experience of how precisely God shows you your unique beauty, the truth of your creation. This glorious all encompassing, personal yet limitless Love of God reveals to you the full capacity of your heart.













"Breathing out -- God's Love now flows through you completely unimpeded. The opening that is the center of your being, the great heart that you are is filled with ecstasy because now you are aware that this very same tender uplifting, deeply personal Love of God you have experienced, can pour through your heart. In this way God may reach others through the sacred opening for Love that you are. The "windowpane" of your spirit, the center of your being, your heart, is crystal clear.













"Breathing in, you feel the sweet support of the All of God, reflecting to you your truest self. Breathing out, you know yourself as the clear unimpeded heart through which God now perfectly loves the world. Every person, every plant, every particle of energy - God will love them through you. And as divine Love is ever moving through you, you will be giving beyond any thought or desire to receive. Just so will you truly receive all that you give, which is now all that God gives through you, multiplied and delivered to your open and accepting heart.













"Now you have the assurance that all impediments will be removed from your heart by God. So you can simply rest in this assurance - that God will do the work of Love, in and through you now in each and every moment."

COMMENTARY:

Excerpt from the Messages from God relating to Dissolving Impediments to Opening the Heart November 24, 2002


"The impediments before your heart, any one of you, unravel like a skein of wool when the Love hits it, and unraveling, they do "replay" themselves. They engage the projector, pull down the screen and play a movie in your mind. For, of course, this is what life in the ego really is - billions of unraveling "movies" playing out the mind's beliefs, over and over, as the light of My Love seeks entry.

"Yet you can know, you who now begin to come to the central point consciously, that the more you stay "out of your mind," the fewer "new movies" you create, and soon (sooner than you think), there won't be any "movie reels" left to play.

"When you say, "YES" to Love, you are saying that you are willing to dissolve those impediments -- to let the light of My Love into the movie theatre. Thus, for you who see your lives becoming beauty, the reflection of your heart -- you can know that if suddenly you are "in the play" again, it IS the clearing out of those things cluttering up the heart space, those things that "push the pendulum" so that it swings away from the center point. Especially if you are choosing to accept the tools given [the above Meditation], then you can positively know this is the case, and that it won't take long before you will be able to remain in the stillness of My Love, allowing Me to live every moment through you."

Excerpts from the Messages from God relating to the Ego -- July 23, 2006

I have said to you recently that you cannot believe the ego in any way at all. You cannot believe its memories or the constructions of your life because all of it is totally arbitrary. It is images that you build of your little self and then you choose to wear. But it really has so little to do with what you truly are ... So what does it truly mean to release the dream of the ego mind and all of the things that it has concocted about who and what you are? All the memories and the images and the pictures that it chooses to create for you an image that you name yourself. Yet, to see as Love sees you, as I see you, beloved ones, it is to see pure light and to feel the glorious movement of Real pure Love.

...the bundles of memories and of images and feelings that you believe represent your past and your experiences are already totally skewed to your ego’s point of view, and truly are made up of little bits and pieces of feelings, thoughts, experience as well as bodily sensations that are packaged together and stored as the file marked “my identity.” Yet, these things already contain the ego mind’s evaluations and judgments, its labels of good and bad and the resulting physical neuro-chemical sensations that accompany each of them.

As all of you know from experience now, the moment you experience a repetition of anything even somewhat similar to the past, these very snippets of identity, of ego mind perception come right back up to be played again and of course, to be added to. When you begin to work with yourself, gaining awareness, you discover that when these little tapes are running, they have nothing to do with what is happening and everything to do with the ego mind’s perception, conglomeration of thoughts, feelings and evaluations that have become your point of view.

This in itself tells you, beloved ones, that all those things that you believe are your memories are totally already wrapped up in duality perception of your ego mind’s point of view. If you ego mind has chosen your identity as victim, then everything that has happened to you is already skewed that way and goes in as the tape, as the “memory” with that evaluation already in place. “It was somebody’s else’s fault. Somebody hurt me. I didn’t do anything. I didn’t deserve this. Etc.”

So when you look back on your life, what you are seeing is the ego mind’s manipulation of you to create the identity that it has chosen because it believes it will keep you believing in the ego mind. So the time has come for you to become free, dearest ones, of this whole illusory dance and to open yourselves to the Real experience of life which is the living Now Moment, the River of Life and the in-breath and out-breath of God.

So, with tenderness and with ecstatic joy, I help you remove the mask that has kept you believing in a limited life and your ego mind using this to convince you that to serve you must be functioning here in this same limited way, but I am showing you that you can be Real Love, absolutely magnificent, the living breathing whole experiencing the consciousness, experiencing the relationship and all of it the gift of I Am – your awakening into the inclusive self. I ask you all to make this experience your focus again and again every day, until you truly loose the bonds of humanness and fly free in the realms of Spirit.
